I can help you live more fully. With a primary focus on managing chronic pain or other chronic illnesses, I work collaboratively to help people see where they can increase control and connect to what matters most to them. I specialize in rehabilitation psychology, pain psychology, and supporting people in their recovery after injury and/or with chronic medical conditions. Often people work with me to address experiences of trauma, grief, and loss related to injuries and health conditions. I use evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I am board-certified in Rehabilitation Psychology, with over 15 years of experience helping people who have chronic medical conditions, including chronic pain. In addition to rehabilitation-related needs, I enjoy helping people with physical and mental performance in activities such as physical training, running, rock climbing, and mountaineering. See the Services page for more information.
I work in a collaborative and real-life way. We will work on the goals that matter to you. I am happy to offer a phone or video consultation call to answer any questions you might have. Please give me a call or email me. I look forward to connecting to see how I can help you live more fully.
I live and work between Washington State and Colorado. I have active psychologist licenses in both states and can work with people located in either state. Additionally, I have an interstate compact with PsyPact which allows me to work with people in various states. More information is here, and please contact me with questions.
